The Force Awakens in less than two months!!

For as long as I can remember, the Star Wars trilogy (the original three) have been some of my favourite movies.  Although never strictly the nerdish type, I can remember spending weekends just watching all three, since in my world, trilogy watching means watching all three movies.

Then the trilogy of prequels came out.  Now, I’m not a die-hard über fan who can speak Chewbacca or whatever, but even I, at the young age of about 15, was incredibly disappointed with these movies. I can’t say if it was the bad acting, the shitty script-writing, or the stupid characters, but I hated it.  Hated. As in, I saw them once and refused to ever watch them again.

And now we’re a little less than two months away from the start of a third trilogy, and I’m beyond excited. I was skeptical at first, and I still am a little, but the closer the date gets, the more excited I get!!

Gilmore Girls is coming to Netflix!

Unless you live under a rock, you’ve probably heard something this week about the possibility of new Gilmore Girls episodes.  My Facebook feed erupted today with everyone and everything talking about it.

So of course, I had to look into it. And what I found sounds promising for us fans!

According to TV Line and  The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix has reportedly closed a deal with Warner Bros. for a limited run revival of Gilmore Girls, which would be penned by creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Dan Palladino. Unlike previous GG seasons, which had the full 22 episodes or so, and unlike other Netflix exclusives that have between 10-12 episodes,  this limited run would only be four 90-minute long episodes, or “mini movies.” While most series seem to come back to brand-new seasons, this would essentially serve as the goodbye it deserved — and a closure to all those wondering what happened to the characters.

Hello, there!!  Yes, you!!

I know, I know, it’s been so long since we’ve seen each other…but hopefully that’s all about to change!!  Yes, you heard it right, I plan to update this blog much more often.  Let’s be totally honest, it probably won’t be as often as I’d like, but it’ll definitely be much more of then than I’m currently doing it!!
